Each & every Wednesday for “Woman Crush Wednesdays”, an entrepreneuHER is selected to be featured in the “Boss Babe Spotlight” Series. This series has been curated to shine some light on the small businesses of women who are unapologetically and authentically being themselves while leaving a footprint behind in the world that they live in.
WHO’S UP NEXT?
Today, I am featuring: Tiffany James, also known as Ms. Cute As A Button! Recently, I had the chance to interview Tiffany and learn some new and exciting things about her. I want to thank her for taking the time to speak with me so that I could shine some light on all of her dopeness and share it with you all. I certainly look forward to continuing to curate, collaborate, create and celebrate with her in the future! You can shower her with your love & support by shopping her merchandise or placing a custom order of your own! Sit back, relax, pour a glass of wine and read about what she shared with me:
What do you want people to know about you and your business?
CAAB Customs sells culturally ratchet apparel that caters to those who want to make a bold statement with their fashion.
What drives you as a business owner?
Creativity brings me great joy! With Ideas flourishing instantaneously, my challenge lies in how to take a piece I’ve imagined and turn it into reality. I most enjoy making pieces that not only complement your beauty but bring positivity, joy and a hint of ratchetness to each customer.
What kind of legacy/footprint do you want to leave behind?
The legacy I want to leave behind is one that makes a statement of bold and carefree! I believe that everyone has the right to stay true and authentic to who they really are. CAAB Custom apparel is a way to express yourself without having to say a word.
What knowledge would you like to impart on other small business owners, both new & aspiring and old & experienced?
Don’t be intimidated or dismayed by the fact that your industry may be highly saturated. Find your lane and ride it until the wheels fall off. It’s ok to be inspired by others but it’s better to be authentic to you and your brand. Your customer base and real followers will always know when you’re not being genuine.
What does being a “boss babe” mean to you?
Being a boss babe means being a woman who isn’t afraid to be who God has called her to be. She is unapologetic in her decision to conquer the world on her terms.
If you had to pick a phrase to serve as your words of affirmation, what would it be?
To thine own self be true!
Are there any other special gifts or talents that you have that you’d like to share?
My creativity is unmatched!
