What do you want people to know about you and your business?

Hello! My name is Tiffany Smith, and I am a plus-size lifestyle blogger and content creator based out of North Carolina.  I promote body positivity and women empowerment through style, beauty, and fashion. My website (www.beautiffullyme.com) is a platform for my blog, YouTube channel, and merchandise. My viral Instagram page is a reflection of all of my interests and services outlined for my audience to enjoy. I often create “Get Ready with Me,” “Behind the Scenes,” and “DIY Tutorial” videos showcasing how to recreate my tips or outfits. As a content creator; I provide creative solutions for my clients. My fashion aesthetic, creativity, and visual creations assist with visibility and funneling sales for myself, and I wanted to extend my services with others! I started Beautiffullyme LLC last year once I recognized my passion for offering apparel and social media strategies. I felt that I needed an umbrella company that could grow with me, and I’m so happy to have trusted myself. This first year has been amazing!

What drives you as a business owner?

My clients! Their success is a reflection of my success!! When I get an email that an item I promoted has sold out or when I get a photo of a woman, who was previously ashamed of her body, rocking my signature “Free The Fupa” crop top; so much joy covers me! It’s so validating and a true blessing to love what I do so much. I love empowering other women and being someone they can look to for “if she can do it, I can do it too!” inspiration.

What kind of legacy/footprint do you want to leave behind?

When I leave this earth, I want my name and brand to bring joy to those who think of me. An interesting fact about memories is that over time, we forget the details and remember the feelings surrounding our thoughts. With Beautiffullyme, I want to entice the sense of positivity, laughter, and happiness; with women all over the world. Improve their personal feelings toward themselves, facilitate self-love across my platform, and give women the tools they need to live their best lives. 

What knowledge would you like to impart on other small business owners, both new & aspiring and old & experienced?

You. Can. Do. It!!!!! When starting a new business venture, there are so many things to consider from the font of your logo to the items that you will sell. It’s easy to become overwhelmed, attempting to compete in the business world. Take a breath, remember why you decided to start, and conquer things little by little. I started offering social media services to assist other small business owners when I recognized the need. Everything seemed so expensive when I started, and I want to provide affordable solutions for other small business owners. Websites, media kits, and Instagram algorithm solutions have been some of my top sellers!

If you had to pick a phrase to serve as your words of affirmation, what would it be?

My “Beauties” have read and heard me say:  “Change your mindset, change your life.” I LIVE by this saying. No matter what you are going through, having a positive mindset will improve your circumstances. 

Are there any other unique gifts or talents that you have that you’d like to share?

I’m good at visuals and editing. It’s a skill that I had no idea I had until recently. I’m incorporating my natural talent into my business by offering a video for my clients. I also create behind the scenes videos to showcase the “process” behind a pretty picture. Proof that you never know what you are capable of until you try!
