Hey yall, HEY!
So, I decided to kick off my Weight Loss Journey with a 30 Day Fitness Challenge for myself and go from there! I figure that more short term goals will produce the best results! Just like many of you, I’ve been that chick who has tried diet after diet. Fell on & off the wagon over & over again. My weight has fluctuated too many times to count! But, here I am; back for some more! They (whoever they are LOL) say that it takes 21 days to form a new habit.

No, I don’t want to be skinny. Shit, I love my curves! But after being told that my health is at risk, but can still be managed simply by the choices that I make from this day forward, I knew that I had to make some changes! I have a family history (twin sister, mother & grandmother) of diabetes, hypertension & high blood pressure. I’ve watched them struggle with their health issues. Thankfully, I haven’t been given these diagnoses and I don’t plan to start now! I also know plenty of others whose health issues are irreversible and their quality of life has been reduced, so while I am still able to do so, I have decided to CHOOSE LIFE! Besides, I ain’t getting any younger. I’ll be 35 in September. And I DO want to have children before these eggs of mine dry up. LOL Soooooo…. Raé’s Weight Loss Journey begins today!
